GENERAL INFORMATION IMPORTANT
TOPCOAT +2K
- Topcoat +2k is supplied in a kit with 1 litre of part A and the required amount of part B to be mixed with the whole litre of part A. If you wish to use smaller quantities of product, respect the proportions found in the technical data sheet and mix the two products well.
- – Topcoat +2K is available in both Gloss and Matt versions and is a specific formulation for Wrapper.
- Never apply any other two-component clearcoats on Wrapper than our Topcoat +2k
- The two-component clearcoat once dry can be sanded and in the case of the glossy two-component clearcoat it can also be polished with an orbital and abrasive paste.
- To remove any orange peel after applying 2 coats of two-component gloss clearcoat, after at least 72 hours, sand down using sandpaper on a random orbital sander (hand sanding near the edges is recommended).
- The two-component 2K clearcoat is very elastic and tends to heat up a lot during polishing. Therefore, it is recommended to proceed with the following abrasive cycle: 2000/3000/4000/5000 and then polish with orbital (soft pad) and abrasive paste.
- As an alternative to the cycle described above, proceed with sanding the area to be treated with 2000 grit sandpaper to remove dirt or peelings and proceed with a third coat of +2k clearcoat. (this cycle is compatible with the two-component gloss and matt clearcoat).
REMOVAL OF WRAPPER WITH PROTECTION +2K
- Create a breaking point with a sharp object, taking care not to damage the surface underneath, lift 3/4 cm of the film and remove it by pulling as if it were a normal vinyl sticker.
- It is recommended to wait 24-48h for removal.
